1 year check-up

Today I took Lucy to good ol' Dr. Freestone's for a check-up. He was super impressed with her physical and cognitive skills (she spent the whole time walking over to him, doing a super cheesy grin, and then coming back to me). But, she is still tiny as can be! (except for her head, which is still humongous!)
Head - 18.5 inches; 95 percentile
Height - 28.5 inches; 25 percentile
Weight - 17 lb. 7 oz.; 4 percentile

Funny! Here are some of her recent tricks. In the video, you will see her mad walking skills and her saying "hi". It's so cute!

Also, she does head stands now. What a talent. (:
Love this little lady!

Lucy is ONE!!

I don't know how this happened. Lucy is one today. There is no way it has been a year. I can't even believe it. Sniff. It's kinda sad.

I wanted to post some of my favorite pictures from the last year. And, naturally, we had to have a birthday photo shoot. I'm not dying over any of them, but they're still pretty cute. Look at how much she's grown and changed!

2 Year Anniversary!

Yesterday was our 2 year wedding anniversary! It was a busy, but good day. I had a big school project I was working on in Salt Lake all morning, Kyle's brother went through the temple (congrats Trav!), I had math homework...it was just crazy! But we did get to go to the temple and out to dinner (thanks to my fabulous mother in law for babysitting).

Coolest story! So we went to the temple, and the very man who married us was there working in the room! Talk about coincidence!
(This is Brother Packard. Don't worry, I'm not a creepy stalker. I've been doing his personal history video for the last few months, so I have all their family pictures.)

Anyway, it was a really good day. I love Kyle so much! He's the best hubby ever! Thanks honey, I love you!

Grocery Shopping

I love this website. It's amazing. So, basically, these people go through all the ads each week and determine what are amazing deals, great deals, and deals you could get at Wal Mart or Costco any day. They then put all the info, store by store, into an easy to use spread sheet. It takes hardly any time to go through them and print them out, plus I've saved so much money through them! Down side, it costs $5 a month. Up side, you save TONS more than that, without much effort at all!!

Recommend it? YES!
Especially if you're a busy person. (Who isn't?)

New Washing Machine!

So, about a year ago, this nice guy in Kyle's parent's ward saw us carrying our laundry bags out of their house (we didn't like paying for the machines, so we'd bring our laundry up on the weekends and do it at Ken and Debbie's). Anyway, he came over and offered to let us have their old washer and dryer! So nice!

We couldn't use them until we moved here, because we didn't have washer and dryer hook-ups. But come to find out, the washer leaks. In a major kind of way. Kyle tried everything, but it kept leaking. Finally we decided to go look for a new washer (the dryer works great). We found one for an incredible price at Home Depot, and got an extra $150 off because of the appliance discount! Yay! I love it!

So does Lucy. It's right on eye level.
